  6. This is how Teddy Bear was born. Prez Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was out on a shooting spree when he stumbled across a bar cub and refused to shoot it. This story got published in a newspaper and shortly, stuffed toy bears under the name "Teddy's Bear" were up for sale
