Question 480: Casting pearls before swine

Below is an excerpt from the introduction of one of the most well loved works of fiction ever produced.

    Those are the Edward Burne-Jones paintings Pygmalion.

    Pygmalion!
    The painting is part of the Pygmalion series by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones.
    The hero is Higgins, an energetic phonetic enthusiast :P
