Question 524: Move Over Casanova

This famous philanderer and con artist is considered as the original master of disguise. Even though he was mostly occupied with women and scams, he occasionally lent his expertise to the police to aid them in their pursuit of his fellow tradesmen. He is credited with founding the worlds first criminal agency and as the father of criminology. He was renowned for for his uncanny knack for dressing up like a woman, a skill he originally developed to accompany his slightly older and unhappily married mistresses on family vacations when he was young. His account of his rather colorful life should be made required reading for all of us who frequents a quiz blogs. And needless to say he was French.

Name the guy

Question 523: It is ON!

These three pictures connect to a rather enterprising man.

Question 520: I have the force, or as its known in India, "Mere Paas MA He"

Back after unpopular demand, and the fact that we're going crazy trying to find my books, Nihar & I will be posting questions sporadically till March.
We'll be alternating a question a day, on every alternate day

Been sitting on this question for quite some time now, decided to post it whilst its still fresh on the net, if not the mind
lol

The video shows a boy __X__, dressed as Darth Vader trying to move objects using the force. The boy __X__, was cast in spite of having a congenital heart defect, but he essayed his roll brilliantly nonetheless.
The video went viral and was dubbed the biggest hit of the event __Z__, which most people watch for the ads.
The  ad is for a company __Y__, and was aired very recently at the major event __Z__?

X with his family and Doc

X
Question:
1) ID the young Vader
2) & just ID Z, coz Y seems rather obscure from this video )doesn't even make an appearance)
Also, brownie points for giving me any info on the title of the post

Question 519: Oh my gawsh! Can this be True? Seems pretty Super!

This is the author’s note for a certain unfinished work , __X__:

“The tale of ____Y____and____Z____ is recited in the Mahabharata as a story of conjugal love conquering death. But this legend is, as shown by many features of the human tale, one of the many symbolic myths of the Vedic cycle. ___Y___  is the soul carrying the divine truth of being within itself but descended into the grip of death and ignorance; ___Z___is the Divine Word, daughter of the Sun, goddess of the supreme Truth who comes down and is born to save; ________, the Lord of the Horse, her human father, is the Lord of Tapasya, the concentrated energy of spiritual endeavour that helps us to rise from the mortal to the immortal planes; ________, Lord of the Shining Hosts, father of ___Y___, is the Divine Mind here fallen blind, losing its celestial kingdom of vision, and through that loss its kingdom of glory. Still this is not a mere allegory, the characters are not personified qualities, but incarnations or emanations of living and conscious Forces with whom we can enter into concrete touch and they take human bodies in order to help man and show him the way from his mortal state to a divine consciousness and immortal life."

__X__  is quite easily the greatest poetic work by the author, and is appreciated both for its poetic quality as well as its spiritual and philosophical content. Composed in a rhythmic hexameter, it consists of 24000 lines and deals with the history of man and the Gods – of the creation of the universe, its purpose and its destiny. The author stresses on the spiritual evolutionary philosophy of ___A___, which is built on the concept of self realisation and has been compared to Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's concept of ___B___.

B

Question:

1. Identify X and the author.
2. Identify Y and Z. ( They’re generally considered together and the break down was solely for the sake of simplification)
3. Give me A and B.
5 points for any 2, 10 for all three.
