Question 600: Reckless Lyrics

__X__ was the songwriter who helped ___Y___ write the lyrics to what later became his most famous song. Until then, __X__ had already written several songs for Aerosmith, but working with __Y__ was what gave him a greater share of the limelight.

__Y__ was only a boy when the year being referred in the song came around. At the age of 9, he says that he really couldn't have lived through even a quarter of what he was implying. The song was actually about sex, and not about a nostalgic look back, like __X__ still continues to maintain.

__X__ and __Y__ still amicably disagree about what the song is about. __X__ maintains it was inspired by care songs from The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen, while __Y__ still chuckles at the fact that it became the UK's favourite song in a 2009 summer poll.

unrelated to the song, but still funny!

Give me X and Y for 3 points each, name of the song for 4.

Question 599: A Tax is the Best Form of Defense

Not as verbose or grandiose as one would come to expect about a question pertaining, but not restricted to __X__, just Connect the 2 pics and the audio file.

Question 598: Basque ket Ball Anyone?

A sports question which is not related to some damn EPl clubs
AT long last.
ID the sport whose rules are as follows:

A team scores a point if an opposing player:
  • fails to serve the ball directly to the front wall so that upon rebound it will bounce between lines No. 4 and 7. If it does not, it is an under or over serve and the other team will receive the point.
  • fails to catch the ball on the fly or after one bounce
  • holds or juggles the ball
  • hurls the ball out of bounds
  • interferes with a player attempting to catch and hurl the ball.
Also described as a sport for ONLY right handers,
guess left handed people don't do it right

Question 596: Not a Looking For Kyle Meme

This painting occupies an extremely important place in the body of David’s work and in the history of French painting. The story was taken from Livy. We are in the period of the wars between Rome and Alba, in 669 B.C. It has been decided that the dispute between the two cities must be settled by an unusual form of combat to be fought by two groups of three champions each. The two groups are the three ___X___ brothers and the three ___Y____ brothers. The drama lay in the fact that one of the sisters of the ___Y____ , Sabina, is married to one of the ___X___, while one of the sisters of the ___X___, Camilla, is betrothed to one of the___Y____ . Despite the ties between the two families, the ___X___'s father exhorts his sons to fight the ___Y____  and they obey, despite the lamentations of the women.

Sounds a lot like a Hindi movie i know, but im getting to this before Bollywood does.
Question:
1) ID X and/or Y OR name the painting
2) ID what the painting inspired.

Question 593: Suche!

Before I get to the question,
