Question 764: Greed, for lack of a better word, is...stupid.

__X__ is a thingamajig.
This thingamajig is generally credited to, and named after ___Y___ who is believed to have come up with it in order to curb the greed of a certain set of workers and preventing it from, well, overflowing.

This funky invention consists of a column in the centre positioned directly over the stem and over the hole at the bottom of the stem. A small, open pipe runs from this hole almost to the top of the central column, where there is an open chamber. The chamber is connected by a second pipe to the bottom of the central column, where a hole in the column exposes the pipe to the contents of __X__.

It uses some fancy Pascal's Principle of Communicating Vessels and other less fancy siphon concepts to work and thus successfully defeats the greed of the evil greedy people who are so full of greed and thirst and stupidity and what not.

What? Explain how X works.

Question 700: So they can stab you to death and then write about it in their journal?

This company came into existence in the year 1884. This multipurpose product made by this company is world renowned solely because of the fact that it is associated with __X__ and derives its name from them. It was originally the sole supplier of the product and regained this position when it acquired the rival supplier of the product in 2005.

In 1909, the mother of the company's founder passed away and he decided to name the company in memory of her. The company started using __Y__ in their products in the year 1921 and as a result, the name of the company was altered to accommodate this inclusion.

Though this product was originally created to serve the requirements of __X__, it is widely used by the rest of the world, simply because it's so handy and compact.

It is even part of the standard equipment used by NASA astronauts.

Id X, Y, the product and give me the name of the company.

Question 693: Glorified Tubelights aren't they?

The following is a description of the choreography behind the use of __X__ in __Y__

I developed different styles for the characters, and gave each of them a flaw or a bonus. So with ___ for instance, he's got a very business-like style — when he was younger he could border on the flashy and might twirl his __X__ a bit, because he was taught by Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon was brash, that rubbed off on ____ and ____ then taught _____, who was way too old to learn anyway... I think the style really worked well. The ___Z____ style of fighting is an amalgamation of all the great sword fighting styles. Melding them together is the difficult part — to move from a Kendo style to, say, Rapier requires a complete change in body and feet movement, and this must look effortless. The style moves seamlessly between the different disciplines, but remains technically correct throughout. It's unlike any other style of fighting and I think it's beautiful to watch.
