Question 474: Shaken up after seeing this

The following is a clip from a video by Celine Dion, doing a cover of a song __Y__ by a Band __X__.
If you can bear through the video, ID X and Y.

Or, for those unable to stand such an indignation to that wondrous institution unto itself, __X__, here is a text of the question.

__Y__ is a signature song from successful album ____Z____ (no need to ID it). It was number 10 on the top 100 songs of the 80's, and considered the band's best song by VH1 (another reason no-one cares about VH1 rankings). The song itself relates to a story with of the lead singer with a lady, and what they did inspired the name of the song, __Y__.

Question 473.g: A unit charge per vehicle

__X__'s efforts to obtain support for his voyages were not hampered by a European belief in a flat EarthSailors and navigators of the time knew that the Earth was spherical, but (correctly) disagreed with __X__'s estimate of the distance to __Y__, which was approximately 1/6th of the actual distance. If __Z__ did not exist, and had __X__ continued to __Y__(even putting aside the threat of mutiny he was under), he would have run out of supplies before reaching it at the rate he was traveling.

Solve for X,Y,Z.
(only X and Z are pertinent to the theme)
ALso, how is it related to the question name?
