QUESTION 378: Come on! Don't be a brute!

In 1962, X, a cabana motel owner, used US$35 million that had been lent to him by the Teamsters Central States Pension Fund to begin plans for a hotel on land owned by Kerk Kerkorian. X would later act as designer of the building he planned to construct.
X struggled to decide on a name for the building. He finally decided to call it Ys __ because he thought that the name X would evoke thoughts of royalty . Also he felt the name would attract a more seductive crowd of women to attract more men into the gambling portion of the casino. X felt that guests should feel they were at a king's home while at his hotel. It is called "Ys" and not "Y's" because every guest is a Y.
